All thy vexations Were but my trials of thy love, and thou Hast strangely stood the test . . .

Wow.

Not only was yesterday's performance the penultimate show of Zoot's TEMPEST, but also nearly the end of the Summer Series. Hard to believe. Happy it was a great show with an incredibly responsive crowd.

Looking forward to wrapping it all up today. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this possible for me. I surely do appreciate it.

: D

I spent a lazy afternoon before meeting Tristan at the Studio where there are always wonders to behold.

We may be rapidly approaching the end of the Summer but Tristan and crew are already working on Zoot's upcoming touring production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The above is the skeleton of the Mushroom. Hope to see it finished. And I hope some of you get to see it and the rest of the season.

You can find out more about Zoot's continuing work at the website. I hope you do!

I also caught Tristan blowing the ashy dust off his grill top for tomorrow's wrap-up BBQ. He and I moved a couple of things at his new place and bought some provisions. Now we just need some folks to remember ice!

Following my time with T. Cupp we rocked show and I got to spend some more quality time with Brian watching short films and friends' work before meeting up with his old pal Betsie. We took a few moments out at Brixx on 1st and Sears and chatted about many things before I headed back to the trailer and had the holy Hell scared out of me by an alarm I wasn't expecting. Phew.

All is well.

Now I'm gonna get all gussied up, 'cause I feel like it. So there.

Best,

M
